Overview
Mr. Bob Jin has rich trial experience in IP litigation. With a physics background, more than a decade of patent litigation experience, as well as several years of patent prosecution experience, Mr. Jin is skilled in handling patent cases involve high technology elements. He is admitted to the China bar and SIPO (CNIPA).
From 2017 to 2019, he represented Qualcomm against Apple in several patent infringement cases before multiple Chinese courts; among them, one second instance case was listed as one of the annual top cases of the SPC in 2018. In 2012, he won a re-trial patent infringement case before the PRC Supreme Court, which was named in the “2013 annual IP report of Supreme Court”. The rational was later codified to be one article of the Judicial Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law on Patent Infringement (II) issued by SPC.
Mr. Jin also has been nominated as IAM Patent leading IP professionals. Mr. Jin graduated from Tsinghua University, and had previously practiced at King and Wood Mallesons and LexField. In early 2019, he co-founded Twelve Tables Law Firm, with clients ranging from Fortune 500s, leading national companies to universities and top tier foreign law firms.
