Overview

Ms. Xia Zheng is the founder of AFD China. She has been practicing in intellectual property for over 25 years and is actively involved in a variety of IP practices spanning filing and prosecution, opinions, litigation and enforcement with respect to patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, customs protection, trade secrets and anti-unfair competition.

Ms. Zheng obtained her Master’s of Science degree from the University of Illinois in organic chemistry and biochemistry, her Master’s of Engineering degree in petroleum processing and her Master’s degree in intellectual property law from the University of New Hampshire Law School, and diplomas for legal training programs.

Ms. Zheng participates energetically in the IP industry. She has extensive experience and has built a reputation in tackling difficult and complex issues thoughtfully. She was named a National IP Talent by the State Intellectual Property Office and a top individual recognized by third-party surveys conducted by such as Managing Intellectual Property, IAM Patent 1000, WTR 1000, Legal500, and Asia IP. She is a director of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association and Capital Intellectual Property Service Association, and a standing director of the Beijing Patent Attorneys Association, and is also a member of All China Lawyers Association, AIPPI, INTA, AIPLA, and LES.
