Overview
Cyndi L K Chow, is a graduate of the University of London and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the Malaysian Bar in 1999. She is an experienced litigator who heads the Dispute Resolution Team in the firm of Josephine, L K Chow & Co., since the inception of the firm in 2006. Cyndi is also the co-founder of the firm, known for its multi-discipline and diversified legal practice. Cyndi has appeared at all levels of the Malaysian judiciary and is known to be able to articulate and argue various types of cases as lead counsel, ranging from contested estate and family matters to technical commercial, corporate and IP matters. Cyndi leads a team of lawyers in the Dispute Resolution department who also supports the enforcement practice of the IP department in any litigation required. She had acted for numerous IP litigation cases over the years, prosecuting claims for claimants as well as defending the firm’s clients successfully. Cyndi has conducted various aspects of IP litigation matters from invalidation of patents to protection of copyright, from trademark infringement and passing off claims for clients in various industries, spanning from the luxury and branded goods sector to charitable organizations.
